What did Bobby Grant do to annoy the MRS?

In my view everyone is entitled to an opinion but grant seems a scape goat to our problems on the pitch he’s probably one of our best and most consistent players and our top scorer and I’m sure if the players around him where any better he would improve even more , Ronaldo would probably look shit in this team. I do not however condone the minority of morons constantly shouting obsurd abuse at the 1 player who seems to be trying his best for our club, I do not blame the lad for giving it back , would anyone want to go to work if the people around you where putting you down and swearing at you while your there ? also fans turning on fans for shouting sack the board wtf ! we are going nowhere under our current model and a lot of people I have spoken to are feeling exactly the same ie fed up and lost interest , the fans ownership model has run it’s course they have done a seemingly good job off the field but things need to change the board need to be more approachable from fans as well as investors and stop acting like it’s their hobby and no one else’s opinion matters , if I were spencer and co I’d at least take the hint and at the very least ask for help and ideas or put some sort of statement out that they are listening to the fans and are willing to seek investment , there is a massive lack of faith in their ability to take the club forward as all we are doing is going backwards , cheap options in players and management , part time coach , rubbish training facilities etc when there is a war between fans and board and fans and fans my worry is where will it end and will it be too late ?

Don't give it if you can't take it. I remember back in the late 70's John Roberts getting some stick when he was played at centre-forward during an injury crisis. He responded with " I didn't ask to play here, if you want to talk about it see me at the players entrance at 5:30" i went to see what happened, no one arrived. Dai davies had a similar issue no one turned up!

Haha. You sure would have been a fool to mess with John Roberts. But that was in the days before precious snowflake culture which has now crept in. Seems its against the law to hurt someones feelings. Like you say,if you cant take it dont give it.

There was no confrontation over the Sack the board chant, it was pretty pathetic. The Centre section of the MRS booed the angry mob.
Got a liittle nastier when the mob had a go at Grant.

I don't remember any reaction to the 'sack the board' chanst either, which was earlier in the match than the Grant incident.

That’s exactly what they did in the part of the ground I sit. Definitely a positive reaction by many to the anti board contingent.
