As to the Season ticket, let’s see where we are next season.

Merry Christmas.
Exactly how I feel. I have no season ticket, haven’t attended a match since Boxing Day 2019, haven’t been to the club shop nor bought anything and cancelled my WST (x2) memberships. I know ultimately our hard earned cash goes to the success of the playing team, BUT I will not entrust this board to waste anymore of my cash. They have proven they can’t be trusted and yet still show no accountability.

Happy Christmas mind

Time for a Friends of Wrexham comeback - if you want a name that will get under their skin then that’s the one.

Jesus. The villagers will be choking on their brussel sprouts at the thought of that.

Can we have clarification on who has made legal threats against rp. Including whos names cannot be mentioned.

Surely a sticky with this information should be prominently displayed on the site. I am sure Barton bank can assist with this to prevent any misunderstanding.

It always seemed strange to me that the very people who people who can dish it out by the spade load, can't take it.

Under the heading “Rights and Powers of Members” we have Rule 27 which explains how we can change the rules - or not! (my italics throughout)

“27 - The Members may by a resolution carried by not less than two-thirds of the members voting at a general meeting but not otherwise give directions to the Society Board. A Member Wishing to propose a Members’ resolution for consideration at a general meeting shall give notice in writing to the Secretary of such wish, and of the justification for, form and content of the resolution, not later than noon 28 days before that meeting is to be held. The following provisions apply to any directions given:”

And what did I find in the provisions? "27.1 any direction must:” Followed by “27.1.2 not affect the powers and responsibilities of the Society Board under Rule 28.”

So, I thought, “ What is Rule 28?

Well, it’s this! Under the heading “Duties and Powers of the Society Board” it is the only rule and it includes these gems: “28.3.1 The Society Board shall decide who shall represent the Society on the Club Board, upon which the Society will always hold a minimum of 3 positions.” and “28.4 will decide who will be the Chairman of the Club.”

And under 27.1.2 we, as members, cannot change that. Even the failed Resolution, which attempted to make the Club Board a body elected by the membership, would have fallen foul of 27.1.2.

I see no point in being a member any more! Season ticket yes - maybe, WST member no.
It would be easier to start a new supporters trust, make a offer to buy the club, and then vote it through to remove the entire boards and start from scratch.

You might as well keep your wst membership, if you're getting another season ticket. Just to get the discount.
