Re: Eastleigh Reaction
God that was awful. One isolated striker, a manager who doesn't seem to know we can use more than one sub, a captain who spends all game hoofing the ball straight to the opposition, every corner over or under hit, no urgency etc etc.
Just before half time we managed to get our first shot off, but without forcing their keeper to make a save. Our right back is a centre back and our left back is a right back who used to be a midfielder. To be fair Jay Harris was excellent - he must be wondering how he got tricked into playing for us. Anyway at least we've still got a club and we can all look forward to the grand opening of the redeveloped Spencer Harris kop stand, maybe. Any other business would have lost my custom years ago. |

Re: Eastleigh Reaction
Two very poor teams today and it was like watching Sunday league football. In fact it was that poor that neither side deserved to win.
Keates has no idea by parking the bus with 5 man defense and 2 holding midfielders, in a game we need to win against a very ordinary team. He spent about 10 minutes arguing with the fourth official about a throw in on the half way line. This man will lead us out of this league (to the Conference North), perhaps that's what the clueless board want so we can have a 'derby' fixture with Chester!! I will see out my season ticket this season but will not be renewing it under the current clowns. I just don't enjoy the football anymore - our once proud club is in terminal decline - I'm gutted. |

Re: Eastleigh Reaction
Why is it that every time we hoof the ball up field, or in deed when there is ANY winnable ball,it is almost always won by the opposition even if they are of a poor standard?
And it is most frustrating to watch us move the ball two steps forward and three steps backward every time we attack. Is this down to our master tactician? I came back from Llandudno specially to witness today's dreadful performance. I don't think I'll be doing that in any hurry again! Last edited by Gordav; 7th March 2020 at 19.19:18.. |

Re: Eastleigh Reaction
I can't believe what was on display today. We are so predictable and when we get into the last third, clueless, the only player that looks like doing something gets dragged off.
Tonight Redpassion is so, quiet, have people understandably thrown the towel in. |
