Should dibble be required, cost us 3 points which in turn costs us the league title, this “cheap option” then goes and costs us league football and the extra income it brings. Also, Lainton has a poor fitness record and will miss games. As an example, Chris Dunn would be a good number two. Dibble will struggle to get a game in the Welsh prem.
But we haven’t got much money to throw around - season ticket sales will collapse , partly because of the virus situation and ensuing uncertainty, and partly because the Board are seen as trying to run the club down.

Finance is a key factor for all the contracts though.

I would keep Keillor Dunn but ditch ruthers. However if you told me Rutherford is the lowest paid member of the squad and K-D wanted Pearson money, that view would flip.

We won’t go up then.... I’m sure somebody out of the 24 teams in our division will find the cash to properly fund a squad of capable players.

Our aim, every season we have had down in this shitty league has been promotion(or at least should have been). This has to be the target. Spencer can shove his flow charts and PowerPoint presentations up his arse - save it for Kellogg’s pal.

I wouldn't offer any contracts out until we know how long the government are willing to continue furlough payment after June. It's not like there will be a big queue of clubs after any of them anyway. Must be awful being a footballer being out of contract right now though, who knows the next time they'll get a wage.

We need ‘proper’ wing backs

So tough as it is, I wouldn’t offer Jenno another contract
I’d be very surprised to see Dibble with us next season - whenever that is

Don't know why people are even thinking about contracts and signings in the current climate. It will be almost impossible to offer contracts without knowing when the season will start, whether we'll be playing behind closed doors etc. I have sympathy for the board trying to manage these decisions under the circumstances.

Wouldn't expect any player news anytime soon.

Not one of the out if contract players is do desperately needed as to offer them a contract now.

We need to sit tight till everything can be planned when the future becomes clear.

Dibble is a liability that cost us at least 15 points this season. Theres plenty of us other cheap keepers out there who are much better that we could get for a similar price. As someone else said Leighton is injury prone and the thought of Dibble having another extended run sends shivers down my spine.

Keilor-Dunn is a possibility.

Carrington - No brainer to keep on

Redmond - I think there is a player in there but unless he can get himself mentally in the right place I don't think he will play much.

Rutherford - Well hes guaranteed a contract isn't he?

I have no problem with it if we are prepared to loan a keeper in if Lainton picks up an injury.

Dibble cost us something stupid like 10 points earlier in the season with his mistakes. I don't remember the exact number but it was high.
