Maybe I'm just an old cynic but I'm wondering why PS is having to make this gesture; after all, the DSA put aside funds for the second platform on the understanding that the club would apply for matching funds from the FSIF. However, neither the DSA or the FSIF monies are being utilised on this project. Why so? Perhaps because the final solution is going to end up being nowhere near the expected or required standard first envisaged!

The DSA have been open to this all along but the club have dragged their feet to the point of stagnation. Until that is, the DSA were 'invited' to attend a meeting but with the proviso that they could not divulge information via social media - not agreeable for many reasons! The talk of an 'independent' chair and joint statement etc is effectively just another delaying tactic; ultimately means that the club will do what it wants, when and how it wants to.

I would have thought an independent chair or mediator would be exactly the way to go. A joint statement would be a standard idea in such circumstances I'd have thought. The joint statement could be that there was no Agreement!

Seems like they are going to press on and I reckon its better with your organisation on the inside making comments.
