More chance of step 1 and 2 merging regionally

I do think its time to regionalise though

Only champions promoted is not great

Would it be a good move for us though? Puts us into what looks a very tough league and if the current mob plus Keates are still at the helm we would be favourites to go down which takes us to National League North level. Unless we have our house in order and are confident of thriving then it is too bigger risk

I think it's a great idea and makes complete sense to me. Would be a game changer for the club and may mean bigger crowds and far more interest. I always thought we would get back into the league via the back door but let's see. However it's the hope that kills you. I really hope this isn't made up tosh.

Maybe only 1 team to be relegated due to Bury going bump ?? Even so I agree we would be in the mix for that place. Still think it is a good idea though.

More likely steps 1 and 2 merge regionally

Id even prefer that to the current set up, & the endless trips down south

Logistically it makes an awful lot of sense. But you're right the 2 governing bodies are issue.

For continuity across the board if it was to go ahead I would expect League 1 and League 2 to merge.

And then maybe even rejig the whole non league pyramid so everything is regionalised rather than only the national league that is not.

It would certainly help from a finicial point of view.
