We wait for the shit, at the end. I remember getting hammered on here for years for our lack of movement in the transfer market. We can't afford the quality so we wait for the players who are desperate to sign for anyone, and that's why we're a joke club going nowhere.

In Keates first full season in charge he signed a lot of players early, including our current captain, despite a lot of competition for his signature.

Keates hasn't completed a full season in charge in his whole managerial career

Keates' first summer signing was James Hurst

He signed Pearson but that was it with regards to quality, we had the most toothless strikers in the history of man, we always do, we can't compete. For eight years we had piss poor players , coaches and managers. The whole club is a basket case, wake up ffs. Just open your eyes, but 'living is easy with eyes closed' isn't it?

Anyone who defends this current regime are in the same bracket as Hamilton an co.

We would be mad to sign players now and potentially have to pay them to do nothing for 6 months

That's unfair. Keates signed Sam Wedgbury and re-signed Manny Smith in that same window, they were good players. I also didn't think Holroyd was a bad player for us, he got 13 league goals in a Keates team which is impressive given the tactics Keates played/is playing now.

Sam Wedgbury was gash, Manny was another defender and Holroyd isn't going to get you above midtable, his next stop was Chorley.

Generally, we sign utter shiiite.

Wedgebury was a dreadful player but for some reason lauded about like Paul Rutherford because he’s throwing himself into a tackle by the corner flag 80 yards out of position, yet some call him a class ‘holding midfielder’
