The Bobby Grant situtation is dire, and somebody at the club needs to fall on their sword for it.

It seems that every day now brings a fresh set of news of the most unbelievable failings. We’ve hardly had time to digest the last disaster before another rears it's Ugly head. We must be the worst run business in Europe, and anyone still defending this debacle needs to see a doctor as a matter of urgency.

Could it be possible he signed the contract last season on the same terms as the previous, which included his ability to trigger a one year extension? Embarrassed by it there’s been no announcement.

If I was a footballer under the current situation I’d probably extend a contract at any club I could, just to safeguard myself. When we signed him originally he was quite a coup to be fair, since coming to us his stock in football has plummeted, with football clubs struggling these days I don’t think he’d get anywhere close to the wages he gets with us.

As much as its about the fact he's staying to tell old women in the MRS to flip off after someone else scores a goal, its about the lack of transparency. No one cares about half of the bollocks in the weekly WST members post on the website, when we're not told anything about the team. Wouldn't happen at any other club this, and we should be even more transparent reporting to 'owners'

The director responsible for passing this contract to the board for rubber stamping ,needs to resign from their responsibilities with immediate effect. This should never have been allowed to happen. Things like this will continue to happen under the present regime if elected.

I really don’t care about the players perspective. Obviously, Grant will be happy to be signed up here, as he hasn’t had any better offers. The big issue is the actual contract, how seemingly generous it is, and who is responsible for its issue. If it had been my brainchild, I would be so embarrassed that resigning from post would be obvious.

I think the director responsible should have already resigned for a thousand other failures, but he keeps arrogantly walking on , now assisted by his Neanderthal minder Linsey Jones,

According to this, he signed in Jan 2019 with a view to extend at the end of that summer. So he was able to extend for 2 years?

Bobby Grant himself unintentionally threw Spencer under the bus all the way back in January 2019. Watch from 2:48.

The Board have the cheek to be asking fans for money and delaying as long as possible season ticket refunds, when they make decisions like this.On top of the Danny Ward sell-on and Hughes/Barrow/Newell debacles this Board are the least money savvy in the history of Wrexham FC.Resignations are needed as a minimum-fans are being taken for mugs.
