Most fans wouldn’t give two hoots about the board’s actions and inactions if we were back in the FL and, heaven forbid, able to see some entertaining football.

But we were nearly relegated and the football was dire; therefore fans will focus on the WST’s and the Board’s records, and point out any inconsistencies and failures. Most of the gripes are fair, but some are OTT, and some get too personal. However, there have clearly been some nasty attacks on fans by some Board members, which were not addressed. That was one of Pete Jones’ biggest failings as chairman.

I agree that private owners would not be as open as our Board has been, at times. Yet, at other times, they have been evasive and often used procedure as a smokescreen to hide their failings. That must stop immediately. We should not know every bit of detail but, equally, we should not be lied to or pooh-poohed because our views and opinions differ.

The Board must explain why it proposes to do various things; that starts next weekend, when they have an opportunity to explain why developing Bromfield as a training ground is our best option. Let’s see the facts. If they have done their homework I will certainly support them.

The outline plans for The Groves must be complete. One has to ask the question - Why not publish them for all to see ? I guess they at at the stage they will be available for the AGM. Why not share them?

You really are not grasping it are you, nobody is interested in the meetings or voting in 8 years you have had a small proportion of the fan base show an Interest.

Nobody cares about resolutions and this community club bullshit, while the wst have ruined the football side of the club and the club trains on the 9 acre field thanks to this bunch of idiots.

Blame moss, Hamilton etc but in truth it lies with you bunch of idiots who supported scaring away all parties even when a deal was in place for the club/ground/training ground - this is what a ridiculous ideology brings .... call it socialism ... call it fan ownership or as I prefer to call it a disaster.

Fan ownership has destroyed this club into a permanent non league club that is all it has brought, it sent the club on a downward spiral. You’ll support it even when these idiots nearly got the club relegated Covid just saved us.
