Just a quick qyestion

Could someone please clarify whether the club would still be in the plus financially if we didn't receive the sell on clauses we had on players. The reason I am asking is the Trust are getting all the credit for getting the club out of the red, but to me, without the Ward money, things would be a lot worse and we would be running in debt? Is that fair to say?

Don't think its quite as simple as that as without the Ward money we would have spent less. Sell ons have certainly played a big part but I also feel up to last season the Trust had generally made sound financial decisions. I am at a loss to know what went on with Hughes

If the Trust didn’t get the Ward money would be in greater trouble, well yes of course. But they did the money so we are firmly in ‘if your auntie had a d1ck she’d be your uncle’ territory with this.
