If the National League decides tomorrow to delay the start of the season until fans are allowed into grounds, hopefully the investors don’t decide to look at a club playing in the EFL instead.

To be honest, with football in the parlous state it is at present, one imagines anyone with money - serious money - could pick up a "bigger" club than Wrexham.

Don't get me wrong I'd love to see the club challenging in the upper echelons of the Football League again but...........??

Problem is with all these superstar names flying around,what haopens when the eventual bidder (s)show themselves and they are not Reynolds/Sugarman etc. May still be more than credible but will people be disgruntled because the rumours they latch onto turn out to be just that,rumours. A bit like someone saying you've won £50 mill on the lottery then tell you itsa mistake,its ONLY £5 mill. Would you be disappointed even though you have just won more money than you would have ever dreamed.
