In shock and still a bit perplexed really. Why would 2 movie/TV stars born and bred in North America (like me) know anything about the club and want to plow a load of money into the club? Lots of questions need answers and I’ll be following closely, but like others around here who have been following this club for more than a few years (been hanging around since ’99), I’m gonna stay a little cautious. Not negative just cautious.

Complete shock. Id completely discounted the Ryan Reynolds rumour because it was too bizarre.

Then excitement, ive heard of them.both, and always liked them both. I also know how rich they both are.

Can understand your cautious reaction and for what its worth I would think firstly,these guys are past the stage of having a few quid and want to make some more out of Wrexham. Reynolds is pushing billionaire status so its hardly a moss scenario. Secondly,as with regards them keeping interest,and this is purely speculation but I think it kay be part of a kind of rags to riches story documented for a tv channel, so you have to be looking at minimum 5-6 yrs I'd say to make it viable. Also, these people dont need to rip us off and gain bad publicity. Not in their interest on bit.

First reaction was why doesn’t the WST link work, second who’s Rob McElhenney, third Ryan Reynolds! Of all the names I saw being bandied around that was the one I thought was the most preposterous. Still in a state of shock and won’t believe it until I see them confirm it on TV as all we’ve seen so far are stock footage and sound bites from people on the Wrexham side of the deal
