Nonsense.

Some of these players have played regularly in successful teams and at a higher level. They haven't done that, then turned up here and turned into terrible players.

Granted they are under-performing and are woefully lacking in confidence, but under better management (like most have had at their previous clubs) they can, given time, be led, coached and formed into a far better team than what they're showing now.

I'm not saying they're all world-beaters, but a better management team would improve them - this is beyond dispute.

Which players have played in successful teams and been successful themselves?

The Elephant in the room is the takeover..conversations have probably been had Keates is dead man walking and so are probably some of the players he brought in..
They could have been motivated and played better and harder to impress new owners ( and professional pride) or they could have rolled over and accepted it.
This is what has happened and it's only now a matter of time before the new regime takes over and we get our club back

There is something in this I feel. However exciting the takeover is for fans it must be the elephant in the room for players and management who know they aren't fit for purpose for our turbo charged new future

its the whole caboodle it is everything about the way the club has been run financially and footballing, it looks very likely this season will either a fight to stay up or finish about twelth, perhaps the takeover will not happean early enough to save this season, bit like 76/77 but it was worth waiting for 77/78

Pre-season friendlies are what they are but when we played Telford twice and couldn't muster a goal I thought surely not again.

Is it the players or the management team to blame so far this season. Good point, but didn’t management assemble the majority of this squad? They saw qualities in them and thought that they could gel. At present they look a shambles. As a fan, I have no confidence in them and have stopped wasting money on streaming.
If and when, we come out of COVID, will I still have an interest in local football?

Dont agree, when most of these lads were signed , people got excited , oh hes decent or thats a good signing , now cos of the bad start they are crap ? Its all about confidence , if the Manager has none , how do you expect the players to be confident ,how many players have left us that the fans thought were poor , have gone on to do well at other Clubs .
Its all down to the manager and His coaches/tactics /set up . Useless
