Company info is certainly not as easy to navigate as it is here where Companies House puts it all in one place. Most registers seem to be at state level.

That’s one lucky hit...

Difficult to find info on US companies (as not all have requirements to publish accounts etc.) and like you said, in the UK with companies house it’s relatively easy
