We can dream because of what has been put on the table - to turn it down will create a nightmare.

Peter Moore mmm "you never know ;-)" well that's what he said to my mate when he asked him outright. Mates an old mate of Peters, used to play football with him at Gresford, he did ask him before we even knew about R&R and whether he was involved in the takeover and that was his reply. Whether or not he was involved in advising them or has an interest the CEO role I dont know but judging by that remark he's had something to do with it. Said he finished at Liverpool because he achieved exactly what he set out to do and win the Premier league. Come on Peter the National league title with The Town would be a bigger achievement!!

Yes he’s said he wants to be based in the US, but since I’ve been following him on Twitter he’s been spending an awful lot of time in the UK - giving talks, charity functions etc.
it really isn’t that far out an idea that it could be him.
His dad, Terry, is a legend in his own right. He, and his wife, Marle, ran the Red Lion in Marford for years. Originating from a tough area of Liverpool he brought Peter, and the rest of his kids up the right way, From the family pen to the terraces and Kop at Anfield. No prawn sandwiches or corporate hospitality in those days but supporting your own club from the grassroots with Liverpool in his DNA.
Peter's journey from terrace to boardroom is epic and the only regret being that his dad did not live long enough to share that pride.
Terry did however, bring his young family to Marford. So, within that scouse DNA that generation added Wrexham to the mix. It may be a long shot but, with the boxes ticked at Liverpool there might just be one more challenge that means something to him.
He doesn't need the job or the money but, if he has the passion, it could be one hell of a challenge!

Just to correct one point in your text, Terry’s wife was called Marilyn, did most of my early drinking days in the Red Lion and sometimes when my parents were away I was invited to eat with them. Mainly on a Friday night Gran would appear in the snug to get a bottle of Guinness for her nightcap. Marilyn also made the best steak and onion rolls too! Lovely family

Peter, or "Scouse" as we all affectionately knew him at that time, was very definitely a Liverpool fan but Wrexham was undoubtedly his second team.

Having sat at the desk immediately behind him in 2 Alpha at Grove Park Grammar 1967-68 I can certainly confirm that he was fully conversant with the words of "Tip toe through the Tech End, with yer boots on, get yer head kicked in..." and various other Tech End "anthems"!!
