Whilst you (and others) may not always be satisfied with some questions in a post match interview following a defeat the role of the Media Team is not there to criticise but to provide a platform for the manager after a game to give his assessment of it.
Whilst it is easy to criticise it is my belief and the stats bear me out that the Media Team have been a significant part of the Clubs growth over the last 5 years. Compare the output to that of a First Division club and you won't see a difference in many cases despite under our ownership the money available to support the work being tiny.
Look at our growth in followers across all platforms, look at the professional way in which we have handled the media side of the takeover. These are professional guys and girls doing a great job bringing you coverage into your home from Hartlepool away on a Tuesday night through to in week content such as the current "goals of christmas" feature.
I suspect if they decided to down tools and stop their unpaid work many people would very quickly have something to complain about.
Kindest Regards
if they just asked one question relevant, as to why things wernt tried or changed, professional way they handled the take over, but its ok theyre volunteers card, always comes out if anyone doesnt like what they are doing, he makes my skin crawl SH

In the late sixties, the FA coaching vogue was 'prevent a team scoring any goals then your team would only have to score one goal to win!' This would seem to sum up DK's and others' philosophy.

Screams everything that is wrong with the club. Instead of accepting criticism (which should always be welcomed) and looking for ways to improve he goes on the defensive and makes a comparison to nothing.

Instead of wanting to do better the attitude is "well at least we have something when we could just have nothing". There is absolutely no desire to improve

Spencer has openly stated that the Media Team's primary job is to give Keates (and the WST) a platform to air their views without rigorous and independent analysis.

I would suggest that when R&R take over they are likely to follow a similar model, albeit not necessarily in the same format.

With no such investigative journalism coming from the local rags -- probably more through fear of losing access if they are too critical, rather than necessarily agreeing that all is well -- then this forum is probably one of the few critical platforms to judge our performances. But, as with all opinions, we agree with some stuff on here, but disagree with other stuff.

FWIW, in my opinion, the manager is incompetent, his coaches wouldn't get a job with Evans's buses, and many of the players are simply not good enough to push for the POs, let alone win the league. But I am sure some would disagree with my analysis.

That's Life!

Its good in a way because yet again, like when Spencer got made a fool of on Radio Wales last season, it shows them up for what they are. Tin pot clueless amateur's who are completely deluded and out of touch with reality.

And as predictable as ever, like night follows day, he used the 'They're volunteers' card as a final excuse that anything goes and shows the 'we tried' mentality.

Cannot wait to see the back of him and all the other clique who have dragged this club into the doldrums.
