I think we all pretty much acknowledge that Keates and Darlington seem to coach any attacking tendencies out of our players. It would be good to see him under a better manager/coach before declaring how shite or otherwise he is.

Yes, but as I've stated elsewhere , you can't blame the management for some of the blatant chances this lad has missed
Vs. Stockport, Dover, Maidenhead to name those off the top of my head

You maybe right but I think it is more to do with his fitness. Only once this season has he put in the runs he made last season, I cant remember which game it was but he ended up aggravating an injury and coming off. He has missed chances this season and like all strikers, he ain't going to believe in himself until 1 or 2 go in.

I think he looks alright too. Puts himself about and looks strong. Our strikers generally look gash then go on to be decent once they leave. This has been happening for years now.

I do agree with you, but I also think three youngster playing the ball on the deck with each other with some success breads confidence.

to be fair im not his biggest fan and im sure he must have nudes or something of keates missus to get a game but there was a point in that game yesterday he made a great run between the centre halves and Dan Jarvis had the perfect opportunity to play him in and never but saying that after what happened at stockport he probably would have put it wide or over the bar but without the right service he cant do a thing

Why are we all so surprised with the tactical awareness of our players? They are coached by three great negative footballing influences. Also, they appear to put very few hours in on the training pitch. Over Christmas we heard that they were rarely together - within COVID restrictions.
It’s so depressing. Players who are not motivated or good enough. No guidance from management and dire, negative performances on the pitch.
