They couldn't impose a salary cap as well as stopping us getting players in like the rest of the division.

I suspect they will the new owners apart from having lots of money appear to have a social conscience.
I also guess they will be already planning for next season and will have an idea who they want to keep from the present squad and how many they want to add to it.I think we will have a bigger squad next year of 21 or 22 players

Is Thomas out of contract this summer ? If so it's a big call to give someone a 12 month contract who you know will be out until Xmas minimum and worst case may never play again. Terrible injury is a ruptured achilies as it will likely always have a weakness

We may just give him a 6 month and see how he goes but even that will be generous as he won't be playing and I guess insurance won't cover it as we know he's injured

It could just mean paying for medical care.
