Given tonight puts us on the same games as Halifax I'm happy with a Halifax win. Chesterfield can leapfrog us with a game in hand but more worrying is Notts County with 32 games played and 52 points. Anyone in position 5 to 9 is a candidate for the playoffs but I don't think it's looking good for us personally. Hitting form too late sadly.

I honestly see us just missing out. Those 3 games with no points vs Notts, Stockport & Torquay has killed us

That doesn't make any sense when you consider that all the teams below Stockport are having patchy form. Notts County just lost three in a row, Chesterfield have just lost two home games to teams around them, could lose a third if we beat them Saturday. We made Halifax look very ordinary.

It wasn't ideal but we just have to keep winning and there is every chance we can make the top 7.

It's going to be tight, but it's still very much in our own hands, with a bit of luck with injuries and if 1 or 2 of the new strikers can come good.
