Surely the only way that will work is if they stop promotion from the National league. Meaning that the whole season would have been a waste of time, resources etc with clubs taking on loans to get through it etc...

Not going to happen.

Not going to happen.

It would also have a trickle up effect, the relegated teams from L1 would join in etc etc.

Absolutely frivolous case not a chance it will get anywhere.

Therefore no relegation from L2.

Extending the logic:

No promotion from L2 because there is no relegation.
Therefore no relegation from L1.

No promotion from L1 because there is no relegation.
Therefore no relegation from Championship.

No promotion from Championship because there is no relegation.
Therefore no relegation from Premiership.

Sheffield United are clearly behind this.
