I dont know what vision these two have of Wrexham , Its great they have been attracted to the Football , But i walked around the town yesterday , and its a mess , There are probably more empty shops than used ones ,
Lets hope when the Club are a success , fingers crossed in rubs off on the Town , This Council have got it wrong for years , Its really sad to see .

If the club prospers, the town will prosper. Match days against clubs bringing away followings of 2000 or more once a month, as well as 8000 home fans every other week will really boost the economy.

agree with this - the club is the towns number one asset and if its thriving it can really help business in the town.

Surely it can’t be linked to football success / crowds ? If so chester would be a ghost town

I have been coming from Prestatyn/Holywell for 50 years and sorry but I almost never use the town.

I read recently that it was estimated that Cardiff’s spell in the premier league benefitted the economy of the city to the tune of £80m.

OK, the premiership is a long way off for us, but it does go to show that a successful football team can have a significant impact on the local economy in general.

Many would use the pubs though.

Do you buy at supermarkets or Amazon?

Whereas the council has got it wrong, consumers prefer to buy stuff that is convenient to them.

Aren't stores in Chester even struggling due to this? If Chester stores are struggling, those in Wrexham have next to no chance.

Wrexham would be better off basing its economy around the pubs, restaurants and culture going forward and the football club will have a huge part to play. I believe a good deal of funding has already been proposed to help pubs in the town centre succeed, of at least I'm sure I read that on wrexham.com.
