If Liverpool negotiated a percentage of future fees then does our percentage fee not roll onto a portion of that that? Given that they are willingly giving up money up front for a speculative fee in the future, it would seem unfair for them to be able to make more down the line at our expense.

Saying all this, I'm pretty sure Ward is committed to Leicester for the foreseeable future. He just signed a new deal in April and seems comfortable with waiting to surpass Schmeichel.

Ridiculous that he's nearly 28 and has made less than 100 club appearances. Surely he needs to secure himself a loan move for next season where he's likely to be first choice

He was meant to be Schmeichel's replacement. The issue is, the Schmeichels perform until they're 74.

He was meant to replace Schmeichel when he moved on to a bigger club, but that hasn't happened because Leicester have done so well that there aren't currently many bigger clubs who need keepers.

He’s done well but ,for me, he will never be Leicester’s no1 as it stands.
He must be financially secure so should seek first team football.

I find it ridiculous when people blame managers/coaches for players simply not being good enough. Had Smith and Tharme been good enough, they’d have been picked up by another club, like Ward and Davies.

To be fair he is a keeper so he probably has 6-7 years left in him, but yes - really should be looking for a first team spot somewhere - would help Wales too.
