Theyve just signed Saidou Khan from Dagenham.

The squad he inherited were no good so he has to do a wholesale rebuild. I think he showed with his treatment of Yussuf, that Rowe is pretty mercenary. He seems to have fallen put with people at most clubs hes been at.

They will be strong next season though, although all their signings are along the proven non league route.

They are massively in the shit from a financial perspective with huge losses and loans which they are uncertain that they'll be able to repay.

In their 2020 accounts, it says that they aim to halve their playing budget by the 2022 season so I imagine they're in the process of releasing their big earners and replacing them with cheaper options.

In addition they took out a £1m government loan last season so I wouldn't be surprised to see them become subject to a transfer embargo at some point.

They also signed Danny Rowe last season and he was reported to be on 5k a week at Bradford so it will be quite a achievement to reduce the wage bill

I agree, whatever people think of Rowe he turned them around from relegation fodder to finish in a play off place in under a season. They’ll definitely be better this coming season.
