Default Re: whos going to fill the corporate boxes??

I recall pre ownership that under Mossy the WST themselves took on a box and members had an opportunity to go in via a draw. Also the box was offered to good causes such as St Johns, Nightingale House, HopeHouse, Air Ambulance etc etc.

At the time it was a great move by the Trust and very well organised, indeed one of their better initiatives. Serving the community and fans springs to mind.

Is there an improved package for the boxes? Can't see a bog standard 3 course meal attracting many takers at around £650 a game.

I’m sure that’s what it cost when we was a league team and that was an awful longtime ago.

So at £15000, divide that into 23 (games per year) and then divide by 10 (number of people in a box) and it comes to just over £65 per game. The boxes are a luxury or a treat, for the current set-up I don't think £65 pp is too much especially when considering the corporate side is where we will try and make money. If they can fill them at that price, it's a far better use than the non match day squad players sat in them

Exactly. Tickets are £20 so £45 to sit in the warmth and a meal on top. Sounds good value to be honest.

The club is just becoming more professional. I would imagine the boxes will go like hot cakes.

For 10 people? Can see plenty of local companies taking up that offer and putting it through their books, offsetting it against company profits etc

Then using photos of the occasion to show they support their local football team. Win win situation.

Could do with more boxes and restaurants. The question is where?? New Kop appears the only option. Unless you know better.

For 10 people it's not that ridiculous. What was the cost previously?
