PP has clearly grown to hate Tomi but it would be a massive OG by the club if they black-balled a DP reporter for asking a few tough questions.

I wasn't sure about Tomi at first. He just seemed to go for the jugular a bit too quicky...inexperience I guess.

When canny managers get that they just revert to clamming up and saying nothing of note. Tomi is asking the right questions here and its PP who isn't coming out of it well.

There is enough talent within the squad. We have seen that we can play well as a team for short periods, but we cannot sustain it. We should have lost to D&R and Chesterfield but hung in there for 4 points.

Saturday’s performance was dire and unacceptable, but against a team notorious for giant-killing and on a pitch that suited them better.

PP and the players have no excuses for tomorrow night. If you are correct then PP will be sailing close to the wind. So I think there will be a marked improvement, and we will also start picking up more wins in our league matches.

Could be wrong. It wouldn’t be the first or last time. But I am not as overly critical as you, and haven’t yet lost faith that we will improve and come good once we can bring in more midfielders of a better quality.

Time will tell, but the tide always turns eventually, even if bigger Cnuts than you or I got their timings wrong!

As my frined who went to match said yesterday - You had players from three leagues below us giving L1 defenders the run around on Saturday for most of the match.

If there isn't an improved turn around on Tuesday then serious questions need asking about the players and manager.

Agree entirely. What has been served up so far is below the required standard. They must improve. I am still confident they can improve, but some fundamental changes are required: a CDM who can control the midfield; keep the ball on the deck; and have 2 WBs with pace who can attack and get beyond their defence.

If PP and the team don’t buck up then we will probably lose and go on to lose important league games where a win is probably even more important.

No hiding places. We must produce the goods.
