As much as I don't like the Mancs , in my lifetime there's been no one better than Peter Schmeichel.

In fairness, I didn't see alot of Gordin Banks, but I heard he wasn't too shabby between the sticks either.

I couldn't put Southall above those two

He's in the discussion for best British keeper along with Pat Jennings and Banks I think. Shilton all the way from Poland 1973 to W.Germany semi final 1990 on all the old games i've seen made too many ricks in big matches to me to be compared to those three.
