you'd like to think Chelsea would do the decent thing and offer us something , even though they're not obliged to - maybe even a pre season friendly or something like that . Modern football being what it is though I suspect if they decide to take him , they won't offer anything .

Good luck too the lad though training at Cobham week in week out will only help him advance his career , even if he wasn't to make it to the Chelsea first team .... another reason we need to get back into the league though , so we are at least guaranteed compensation in situations like this

but on the other foot you have Miazga, Ampadu, Baker, Todd Kane, Nathan, Izzy Brown, Aina and Kennedy who have spent the last 4 or 5 seasons out on loan continuously

albeit they are getting gametime elsewhere, but its still not representing Chelsea. and Chalobah and Loftus Cheek have both been out on loan for about 4 seasons prior to their first team appearances

True but Cork, Bertrand, van aanholt ake, rice, brewster, tomori, Abraham, solanke, traore, livramento will have Chelsea to thank in some way for their careers. Hopefully the likes of gilmour, Gallagher, sterling will have their chance at Chelsea in the future. BTW miazga, Kennedy and ampadu have played for Chelsea this season.

Given the Players age, and the distance from Wrexham to Chelsea, the only way they could sign him would be as a scholar which is classed as a pro contract by FIFA.

Chelsea will be aware of this and will probably try to come to some sort of agreement with us.
