I think he had his best game for us, but that was all condensed into the first 30 minutes, and it wasn't spectacular by any stretch.

Seems like you’re the one who needs the opticians if you didn’t see it. He’s been playing a deeper role since his first few games so all the casuals who are only paying attention when the balls in the final third won’t notice him.

There are a few that are not up to the standards we expected, Haydn, tozer and James jones just do not seem up to the pace of the football in our league, my thoughts are that the leagues above are more technical with a lot more time on the ball than in our league, if they are good enough they should adjust, but then again how do you adjust to hoofball if your a decent footballer ?

This is the conundrum

It's the same game though so I'm not sure this holds water. There are big physical sides in all of the leagues.

Increasingly , I'm thinking the quality of this league is much closer to L2 / L1 than people realise.

Some Lincoln fans seemed to think JJ would 'rip up' the National League
