Am not sure how anyone looks at our defending this season and thinks we're getting anything like value for what's been spent?

We're not.

But that's not only on PP. Our retained list was bonkers (anyone who disputes that needs to square how Redmond is still here), especially at a position that had excelled last season.

It's meant that time and money that could have been spent on midfield has gone towards a defense that is seeing no discernable improvement from last year.

In French, Tozer, Brisley, Hayden, Lennon we have some of the best defenders in the league on paper. Not having a settled team, formation and a lack of any sort of midfield has not helped one bit.

He needs to settle on a formation, if its 4 at the back then we desperately need some wingers. If he decides to go 352 then RHJ,Hosannah,Green must be used at wing back because they give us more going forward.

Indeed. It’s not our money. It’s not as if our season ticket have risen exponentially to cover the cost of proven EFL players. I can’t see what people have to complain about in that regard.

It’s not really the rich owners’ money either. It’s the money generated by their profile and the sponsorship deals we have.

I don't understand that view. If we buy an expensive player then they should be good like the price tag implies. Its no consolation that the expensive flop was bought with Hollywood money and not members subs
