Is Vassel your fella or something? He was a mistake waiting to happen at the back, similar how we see Dibble. He was average at best. All our centre half’s are better than him now & we’ve had many way better than him before too. Weird

I don't think I've ever seen a player go backwards or sideways as much as him. Anybody touting him has clearly never seem him play and have just read his CV instead.

Not sure that is much of a problem considering that's exactly what we're looking for - someone to patrol in front of the back 3, win the ball and give the ball to more talented attacking players. That said, at 32 he's probably on the upper limit of where we're looking.

Literally. Lad in work that supports Tranmere said this about him, not a clue how he’s played so high up the pyramid. Random fact too, their top goal scorer too is a 39 year old CB on 3 goals.
