Do we get stage fright?
Do teams up their game at the Racecourse?
Are we just flat-track bullies?

All of the above?

I actually thought we played ok first half and were unlucky not to be a goal up at HT. Their keeper made a couple of great saves.

Second-half was dire.

The issue is the midfield. The Wealdstone midfield gave us a lesson in keeping the ball and stringing passes together. We have little presence middle of the park unless we're playing the cannon fodder of the league (I thought the Stones looked half-decent and will comfortably stay up).

Aye.

He's not going to be match fit before January, other than maybe a couple of minutes off the bench.

Then he'll be pushed down the pecking order.

I walked behind him from the Plas Coch roundabout up to the ground today… he’s still got a serious limp so I imagine he’s still a long way off.
When fit, he has to be given a go alongside Mullin…. If not, try him in midfield to replace any of the three wet blankets that played today… he couldn’t do any worse!

After the injury he sustained he will be lucky to play at this level again, even with the best rehab the likelihood of further achilles problems after a rupture and separation of this main tendon is high. I saw him yesterday in the Yale lower tier and you're right he was walking very cautiously....maybe the result of his training session last week?

I thought one of the Chelsea players had come back this season from the same injury, so I’m not so sure about the comments on his future ability to play at a certain level
I certainly hope to be seeing him once again in a red shirt.

Hudson-odoi and loftus-cheek both ruptured their achilles in april/may 2019

Depends on the extent of the rupture....I snapped my Achilles tendon and it completely separated from my calf muscle and haemorrhaged badly and despite months of rehab never played at a decent level again.....it wasn't just physical but mental issues need to be addressed also, you never really lose the worry that it will happen again due to the weakness created by the first rupture and it screws your confidence! Not saying this will be the same for Kwame but its a serious injury for a professional footballer and it has finished the careers of many.
