Just back and yes what annoying road works.
Two shots on target and two goals but to be fair a Lainton hardly had a difficult night.
Poor first half and if they score rather than hit the post at 1-0 we are dead.
However good spirit and tactical changes with plenty to go won us the game. Davies much better second half and ponticelli gave it his all.
As for the Halifax manager - I just don’t think you understand.

We still had good chances to win game. And if we want to be slightly pedantic. Your second goal technically should have been pulled back but the ref had his back to the ball. The free kick was taken 5-10 yards in front of the infringement and was also rolling at the time it was played. But that would sound a bit bitter on my part

I agree. Got ourselves into good positions, but you do have experienced defenders. Felt you nullified us a bit from our usual game. The best team we have played at shay this season has been Dagenham(we won 1-0). I think you beat them as well? But they were decent.

Good result, which papers over the cracks. Surely on Saturday PP needs to start with the 4-3-3 and the lads who finished tonight’s game, let’s take the game to the opposition and give Mullin the service he needs and we won’t be far away at the end of the season!

I think we are going to be surprised just how much PP used Thomas btw. I see a new striker coming in, with Thomas & Hyde to challenge. PP loves a big striker as seen with Hanson at Bradford. Think he could look to use him with Mullin.
