Morning all,

There's a new FiD podcast out today and we've got a great chat with Andy Mangan.

The ex-reds striker tells us about his admiration for Dean Saunders, why he left for Fleetwood and his thoughts on the current crop of players.

We also chew the fat over a difficult win against Dover on Saturday.

Good interview although it did turn into a bit of a Fleetwood podcast at parts! Not your fault though!

I nearly had a breakdown when he started talking about the season they went up. Still haunts me even now.

Good stuff.. I particularly enjoyed “We just need a bastard or two in there to get us going forward" with that kind of clear thinking who needs any of that UEFA pro-licence nonsense?

As itwasn’t answered in the pod, Alex Ferguson was watching us v Crawley as they were playing then in the fa cup the following week.

When he started talking about us losing to Forrest Green, I had a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. I don't think I've ever been as gutted to lose a game, besides losing to Newport at Wembley

The talk of not needing to motivate the team if a big crowd is there doing that for you was a bit interesting, I wonder if that gives insight into the way Joey Barton does things?

Bristol Rovers aren't doing too well at the moment.
