I just hope people don’t let tickets go to waste if they can’t make the match, it’s annoying to have people missing out on a match and then there are empty seats dotted around the stands

With the ticket prices going up, I'm hoping we see less and less of this.

Why the club cannot set up some kind of official ST resale method I don't know.

When I saw Bayern Munich years ago I used their official re-seller StubHub and tickets could only be listed at face value or below with a small fee going to the platform. (I'm sure the seller paid a small fee too) Tickets were then collected from box office so no worry about being responsible for someone else's ST. Could probably do it via e-tickets these days.

This wouldn't guarantee ST holders would use it but would make it easier for those without friends or family nearby to give it to.

I'm just curious.... what is to stop fans from selling their season ticket for a game to make some cash.But then attempt to get into the game using their season ticket, turnstile operator could put it down to a scanning issue and just let the person in?
