Good game against a side that have got some decent results in the last few weeks .

Forde looks absolute quality - a huge upgrade in that position

TOC - again real quality - will be like a new signing for us this year

Howard , excellent hands - his kicks out found blue shirts a little to much , but looked very good other than that

Young and Jones both very good - covered a lot of ground and did very little wrong

Palmer looked quicker than last season and looked very sharp

didn't creat enough for Making , but again he looked in good shape and possibly a little quicker than last season

Tozer played some great balls and looked calm through out .

Max did well

McFadzean looked solid - good to see both wing backs pushing forward .

Solid performance all round - good to be back at the Racecourse

Forde certainly seems very, er popular. Assume he played RWB today?

yep . RWB - definitely an upgrade - very keen to get forward and deliver balls into the box . has pace , worked hard - couldn't really fault him

It has to be said , it was only Macc - but I really liked the patience in our build up play . My son recorded the TOC goal on his phone - over 25 passes , keeping the ball for over a minute and a half before TOC put it in the net - movement off the ball was excellent

Forde is exactly what we needed at right back. I like both RHJ and Hosannah too but we need someone steadier than them for the times when the also-steady McFadzean doesn't play and we play an attacking LWB like McAlinden.

Howard is extremely confident as proven by when he sent their number 9 down to Jonesy's bar with a dummy.

O'Connor/Young/Jones was an interesting midfield trio and may be a combination we can bring out from time to time.

Also of note that 3/4 of our goals were headers. We're good in the air.

Agree with sponsors that Luke Young was man of the match. 2 assists and made the tackle that started the move for Jones' goal.

They played a much younger team against Chorley. We played pretty much the same team as played York- although most of the goals.were the fault.of the York keeper who looked terrible.

TOC easily motm for me. Massive player for us next season. Jones and Young has plenty of energy as well.

New keeper looked assured although did give the ball away needlessly a couple of times second half. Not convinced Young will be starting with both davies and Lee vying to come into midfield though.

Forde looks a good addition although he wasn’t really tested defensively.

Macc were poor but a solid display from ourselves.

Looking forward to the league starting next week!!

Got a sneaky feeling Palmer might end up our top scorer this year.
