To be fair I always liked Jake Hyde and really rate him. That calf injury was a killer for him and us.

Strong and an eye for goal, Southend have got a good striker (massive if coming up) IF he can stay fit.

Absolutely, I think you speak for most of us there.

Hyde looked really useful, and I think his loan out is more a reflection on his lack of availability due to injuries, rather than his ability.

Hope he has a good season, except against us of course.

A clause to stop him bringing selected when we play them would be nice, because otherwise you just know he will score.

Harvey and Parky I expect saw them as squad players and those players are useful for squad depth.

The French extension was a stroke of genius as we got a fee for him.

Unless we sign another striker it’s useful keeping Angus, he didn’t get many chances last season and he looked alright coming off the bench.

yes agreed. I really rate Jake and I hope he does manage to have an injury free season - if he does, he will score a good amount of goals for them . The injuries are not his fault and he's a talented striker .
