ive stopped it, started it, got it on slow mo,no8 got a bandage but hes not near him,i cant see what your seeing that hes got hold of his arm mate,but it is a shocker ,ive never seen a keeper try summit like that with one arm

You cannot get a clear image from that video, it would need to have been from behind the goal. (You cannot tell from that video angle). The ref was not in a good position with players between him and the player standing behind Howard. To say definitely he was not impeded is impossible from that video and vice versa.

I do not think he will make the same mistake again, he does need to be much stronger as others have said and literally take the players out.

hya 1954 ,im looking at the vid on page 3 (topless 1),i can see Howards 2 arms they stand out cause the white gloves are huge,there are no other players hands near his,hes got 1 in the air goin for the ball and one chest height across ,i dont no what you would see from behind the goal as you would be obscured

I was not at the game and cannot comment on his general performance. You are taking off one video which I have stopped frame by frame and still am not sure what happened. It may well be he totally misjudge the flight of the ball and made a right hash of it. But you would need other angles to decide because I just cannot see that split second he came round their player. Did he maybe get his arm caught for a fraction on one of our players, was their a little nudge from their player from behind which left him grabbing at straws (literally) . He seemed convinced he was impeded. You feel his wasn't I would not like to judge on what I saw. I can see why the ref allowed it though. It was not clear and obvious from his point of view, a foul.
