I wonder what input Parky has in these events as it would seem unrealistic for any manager to make a decision to go out and sign a player and then not to use him.

He needs a run of games. He's never going to get any sort of form together if he's used for the odd game here and there and then out of the team for 5 games again. Jones and Young were being picked week on week last year regardless of how out of form they looked, so surely ToC deserves at least a handful of starts to show what he can do.

Currently we're using the same midfield 3 as last season and they're still looking lost as a unit despite having had 40 odd games together, you have to wonder if they don't look cohesive now, then when will they?

I was castigated for saying we were rusty and unfit against Eastleigh. My hope is I was right and gradually we will come good, game by game. Lets hope I was right and we are on our way.

We have September to get up to speed and 'click'. before a much tougher October.
