Should give credit where credit is due, Barry Horne made it sound like they were decent when down to 10. Should we have broken them down easier? 2nd ok me point off top can't be too disappointed surely?

Very unconvincing.

A better team than Gateshead would have taken something from that.

No game management, poor decision making and numerous players just not playing well at all.

I walk away from that concerned more than pleased.

I would say the performances are causing me concern. Fix that and we should be fine.

For me, we need the wing backs to be doing so much more going forward to create space for our midfield.

Seems odd complaining about a 3-1 win and 2nd place in table though

Top scorers in league, one point off top, done with only one dominant performance from 6. So yes happy so far and as Parky said if you can learn some lessons while still winning it bodes well.

We don’t create enough opportunities. We scored via their back pass and two deflections.

Suppose the upside is we’re winning when not playing to potential.

We struggle against 10 because we can’t control the game due to a lack of a midfielder.

We are at our best pressing high , forcing mistakes or on the counter. Worst thing that happened was them going down to 10.
