Didnt create anything. Need Lee in the team, particularly for away games.

Howard 7 - Contender for MOM with a couple of decent saves.
Forde and Mendy 6 Attacking threat was nullified by Southend and defensively not at their best.
Hayden 7 Close to winning it for us late on with a decent header. Only time we were successful in the air in their box.
Tozer. 5 Seemed half asleep at times. Poor distribution and seemed to hit panic mode when they attacked through the centre.
Cleworth 7+ Edged MOM for his overall contribution. looks confident on the ball and carries it forward well.
Jones 6 Mainly for his first half. Dropped away in the second half and subbed.
Young 5 For effort. Didn't really do much at all to push the team forward, no vision or creativity.
Davies 5 looks like a squad filler at present. Can't be 100% fit as his performances lately have been woeful.
Mullin 6 Off day for Paul. Few decent runs, caught offside and seemed to lose interest.
Palmer 7 only forward player really interested in getting something out of the game.
Lee. 6+ Injected some enthusiasm into the game from a Wrexham perspective.
Management. 5 Same old tactics,

Fans. 9 Tried to keep the support going but struggled with a poor display on the field. Hope everyone else got home safely.

I wasn’t at the game but looking at the five match ratings given, Davies averages 3.8.

I know it’s only from 5 posts but the general consensus is that he just isn’t performing in away games, including yesterday’s and the midfield is constantly over-run.

It’s a bit of a mystery why Parky doesn’t change it a bit for these games.

Davies needs dropping he’s been awful at times this season and puts half the effort in young does

It's not just Davies that needs to step up.
Throughout the side there was a lot of hesitation and reluctance to put a tackle in or compete for second balls.
Sometimes you get the run of the ball, other times you have to bust a gut to get it. We are not putting the effort in away from home.
It's OK saying that a point away is OK because all our rivals' dropped points but that 2 points could be crucial at the end of the year.
We really do need to up our game away from home.

Jordan is playing in the same role as last season

He only plays deeper when Lee comes on, when he drops back next to young, presumably to give Lee total freedom

I'm not convinced it is down to lack of effort away, I'm sure the players try just as hard. To me it's more down to a lack of adaptability, we just continue doing the same thing
