It's amazing the squad we have compared to three seasons ago. Mendy and Tom O out of action and the starting 11 as strong as that at Oldham. Think Luke Young has/is getting better and better as an all round player. With the other two wing backs and two Keepers we have injured, when they return it will be like signing half a squad in reserve. Dalby getting game time will be good cover if Palmer or mullin need to be rested. If we get a point tonight I don't think we will lose too spot

That was the name of the game in the summer, improving our squad to a similar level to that of the first 11.
Currently established Lg1/Lg2 players like Tunnicliffe,Lee and O'Connor are unable to force their way into the team, but their time will come.

One thing on the rebuilding of the squad in the Summer is that we changed the right amount of players. There was a good core but we could have gone wholesale changes bringing in a large number of different players. Think we got the right amount in that didn't upset everything. You look at teams like Forest who brought in over 20+ players just to see who badly its upset things there.

very much agree with this . Also look at stockport they've tried to rebuild the squad after going up to and it's not gone well .

When we're promoted, we'll our whole squad will be at least L2 standard , so we'll only be needing to add very few to it - the continuity ( and quality ) will really help us ... and this has been behind PP & SH's recruitment since day 1

Think your right, not only got a squad to win this league but be very competitive in the league above that means we don't have to rebuild, but just add to the squad��

Yes that has back fired for Stockport, whole sail changes to a side that only needed a little tinkle

Not all players are L2 standard to be fair-RHJ,Young,Dibble with Howard borderline in a year's time imagine.
