Not often I come to our defence but I thought Halifax ran themselves into the ground in the first 30 minutes and couldn't sustain it. As soon as they tired we took full advantage.

Palmer was great but Halifax tactics nullified us for so long . The blotted out our wing backs and we had no answer till late on.

Great result, we just grind teams down at home, sounded as if their goalkeeper made some good saves too.

With Notts County winning so easily we had to win tonight, they are home to Torquay on Saturday.

Their penalty looked soft , and wasn’t it offside anyway?

Nope he was miles onside, was second phase of the attack. Blatant shove in the back too. No complaints.

We need to go to the Mike Bassett 4-4-effin-2 formation we look miles better with four at the back, or better still 4-3-3 with Lee or Davies just behind front 2

We have to play 4 at the back to get the most from Lee. He was taking up some very difficult positions playing inside left.
