Yes, it will be interesting to see whether the players can recover fully by Tuesday's crucial game against Bromley.

The forecast is quite dire, so the pitch will be very heavy if it survives the downpour. PP will almost certainly rotate some players, but guess they won't know how the players are until Tuesday morning.

I think there is a difference between short term tiredness from playing 90 + 14 minutes against better players and medium/long term fatigue. I think for instance someone like Tunicliffe will be fine against Bromley.

Id start Dalby again on that performance. Hayden hopefully back and Forde for RHJ. Wouldn't be shocked if McAlinden started LWB

He was good, but was fked at the end. Got to be Mullin and Palmer, they should both be fairly fresh.

I'd quite like to see more of Cleworth, he played very well yesterday. So is Hayden injured then, or what?

Rumoured to have felt a hamstring in training on Thursday and therefore wasn’t risked (rightly if that is the case).

As for team vs Bromley I’d play:

Howard
MacAlinden
Cleworth
Tozer
Lennon
Forde
J Jones
Cannon
Lee
Mullin (swap for Palmer on hour mark if flagging)
Dalby (swap for Bickerstaff at hour mark if flagging)

Bench: Lainton, McFadzean, TOC, Palmer, Bickerstaff.

Hope RHJ just cramped towards the end yesterday rather than felt anything more.

As an aside I read that the Coventry young lad ruptured his Achilles and is now out for the season…just shows how easy it is to get a seemingly innocuous injury and it actually turns out to be very serious - hope he gets back soon.

Roll on Tuesday!!

Lainton

Forde
Hayden (if fit)
Tozer
Tunni
McFad

Lee
Young
TOC

Mullin
Palmer

Proven winning formula. Would be insane to tinker around too much.

I’m not convinced someone like TOC needs a rest, he is young and fit. Fair enough In the FA trophy, but he hasn’t exactly been playing every game.
