We’ve been unlucky once again this season with defenders being out for a few weeks or more, Forde and Mendy and now Hayden and Tunnicliffe. RHJ and Hosannah also long term injuries.

No way is Parky going to allow what happened towards the end of last season.

Tunnicliffe aside, weren’t these injuries muscle related? If so I’m not sure it’s fully down to being unlucky

We better be thinking fast because this really could derail us. We’ve still got a solid squad but these two new additions are crucial! Let’s hope neither are as serious as first feared

OMG. I've struggled with ankle ligament problems all my life.
Needs time, lots of physio, and yet more time.
Can't see him playing again this season, I really feel sorry for him.

Depends on what grade is it, grade 1,2 or 3

Pearson was in the team that knocked us out of the play offs in May. He was on the subs bench for Grimsby in League 2 on Saturday. He is vastly experienced, a leader and committed to the club. I would have thought that in the pressure cooker of promotion that those qualities were required.

But heigh ho, instead let’s go and get a young player from higher up who will have potential and throw him into a psychologically demanding February.

I do know what I am talking about. I said that these stupid cup runs would destroy our season and look what has happened. February was crucial, the time when we could win it or lose it. It’s the latter I’m afraid.

Our season has been destroyed in February?

Interesting take.
