Re: Still All to Play For (Woking 2-2)
that was awful. lennon jesus christ what a scary performance that was. Howard distribution is woeful and his attempt at the penalty was comical. was our midfield always that non existent without o'connor

Re: Still All to Play For (Woking 2-2)
Not optimistic or pessimistic.
Just Pragmatic. Everything was off tonight. It happens and it's been a long time since the last one. Woking were decent and had a good game plan that we fell into. The harried everywhere and often seemed to have the extra man. That seemed to lead us to continually bypass midfield which was a mistake imo The ref let too much go, especially that 1st minute challenge on Mullin. But he wasn't the reason we didn't win. Saturday is another game and I'm sure we'll play a lot better. Advantage Notts, but all they've really done is pull back the ground that they'd lost. It's going to be a long season

It’s deflating. We’re in the most ruthless title race we’ve ever seen and any dropped points will be crucial. We played poor tonight, you can’t hide from it. |

Definitely missed TOC out there tonight, never seemed on our game and to be fair didn't really test their keeper, realistically you cannot win every home game so need to take this one on the chin and look forward to the shithole that is The Recreation Ground and Aldershot on Saturday

Re: Still All to Play For (Woking 2-2)
Not time to panic. Woking came with a game plan to stifle us, disrupt our rhythm and hit us on the break and it worked- frustratingly it's little mistakes that have cost us- Lennon losing possession, Mendy not tracking Amond, and then the needless challenge in the box to give away the pen (Jones? Cleworth?)
This will Happen though, Notts will drop points on days we don't. Things are still in our hands. It's annoying and frustrating, but not the end of the world. I think credit has to go to Woking though, they made it very hard for us. |
