Post on Facebook today suggesting possibility of new Club badge. Fans’ reactions were negative. Anyone know exactly what’s going on?

Don't think anything's going on tbh. Someone decided to create a new badge and most people said no thanks.

Nothing to do with the club as far as I can tell. Some bloke on Twitter came up with an (awful) concept which has been doing the rounds.

The 'brand' is doing pretty well. Hitting key demographics, social media through the roof, selling merch etc.

The only brand I am interested in is the brand of football on the pitch.

Yet in modern day it then ends up on facebook as a rumour.
