There is no let up for the players, so pressure on the fans to give their thoughts and predictions for another quick turnaround against struggling Scunny. Like many relegated teams, they have so far failed to cope with the demands of the NL, and may yet sink to NLN if not careful. Now is no time for sympathy or help, they must sink against us and swim elsewhere!

Yesterday's win at the Shots was an unnecessary reminder that no NL games are easy, but some should be easier than others. This should be the case on Tuesday, but I fear we will have a team of 'walking wounded' supported by 'shell-shocked' fans (PTSD sufferers to our younger readers) desperately trying to match or possibly better County. Meanwhile, Scunny will be desperate just for a point to help avoid falling deeper into the mire.

I think O'Connell and Mendy picked up knocks yesterday, and imagine Tunnicliffe will be very sore after an early return to the fold. So PP may have to introduce a few youth players to the bench and have a bit of a reshuffle of his fit, battle-hardened pro's.

Anyone who predicts the team will be a better man that me, so I'll leave that to PP and his medical staff. Bottomline is we just need to win ugly. If it's a last minute winner, so be it. However, despite our woes, I still think we'll have too much for Scunny, especially if the Red Army suppresses its angst and gets behind the team. Whichever XI players walk onto the muddied Flanders-field under the glare of those diminishing spotlights, remember, they are our boys, so we support them all the way; through thick and thin!

Considering where we were two weeks ago with injuries that back three is unbelievable for this level. That must steady us a bit.
