Imagine if we are level on points and goal difference going into the last game of the season.
Notts Co home to York and we are away to Torquay. Now that would be a stressful last day.

I can see us dropping points against Barnet and Notts.

I see them dropping points at Woking, Altrincham and Wrexham.

I think unprecedented collapse is exaggerating things. Teams have closed gaps the size of Notts County many times before in football history. The fact we play each other makes the title race very much live. We messed up our biggest home game of 2022, can’t let history repeat itself in 2023.

One thing's for certain after yesterdays results, it is now mathematically impossible for Notts to win the title at our place. Something some of their fans were fantasising about when they were 5 points ahead of us.
