Maybe we will, maybe we won’t, I don’t yet know how many points Notts County will get and what that plus one will be. I know we haven’t got enough points yet and the players will have zero focus on the points record.

I just looked at that, that was in 1st Div, in 2nd Div Ryhope Colliery Welfare who came 2nd with 98 pts got demoted down to the Wearside League due to off the field ground grading issue. So, from what I can gather the officials checked the ground to see if it was suitable for promotion to 1st Div and decided that it was not good enough for 2nd Div. Their top scorer John Butler scored 56 goals.
The Champions Crook Town got 101 pts.
To think if that had happened to us.

Both teams are going to go through the 106 points barrier. They need to.

If I was a Notts fan, I’d be slightly concerned by the fall if they don’t win the league. It happened to us.

If we fall short, I’d want us to use our big game mentality and learn from last season and also the cup games. It’s fair to say in that Grimsby game, our collective heads were scrambled and we forgot how to play and, most notably, how to defend.
