As per a previous thread now closed, fans are still baying at the officials if they think an opponents corner placement is fractionally over the line. Happened twice in succession last night with the game at 0-0 as yoevil were clearly wasting time even though they needed a win. It’s embarrassing at any time but even more so when we are chasing a win. Every second counts folks

"well funny" the ref taking 30 secs to walk over and inspect the ball and then walk back again. Just let him take the corner 1cm or 2 is not going to make any difference.

Don't think most people understand the rule on ball placement for a corner.

Ball was fine, crowd kicked off, ref made corner taker move it, ball was fine, crowd kicked off again.

Such a weird thing to get wound up about.

Feels like the world cup where loads of people were insistent that Japan's goal against Spain was 'miles out' when it was shown to be fine.

Noted shithouse Joey Barton said that the easiest way to wind up opposition fans and waste time was to spot the ball overhanging the quadrant. The fans fall for it every time, baying and screaming about a perceived injustice that doesn't exist.

I did enjoy last night when the player moved it again when the referee turned round. 10/10 for that.
